Can you feel the seasonal shift? Winterfold scents to welcome autumn

At Winterfold Candle Co. we curate our candle scents to mirror the seasons, allowing you to embrace the shift.
While it is still summer, autumn is whispering in the wings. The sun is setting earlier, temperatures are (finally) dropping and the back to school feeling is in the air.
Here is a selection of scents that bridge the seasonal shift.
Hedgerow

Hedgerow captures the seasonal shift. Afternoons spent rambling in the countryside, eating your fill of ripe blackberries still warm from the last of the summer sun.
Warm, fruity and slightly tart with a fresh green top note.
Top notes: fresh green bay leaves
Heart notes: blackberries & warm fruits
Base notes: musk, sandalwood
MISTY MORNINGS

Ethereal veils of mist hang, draped over trees and hillsides, there's a chill in the dawn air and fallen leaves crunch underfoot. Autumn's ephemeral beauty.
With a base of ancient cedar and warm amber, Misty Mornings blends calming lavender, a hint of cleansing eucalyptus with heavenly drifts of sea salt.
Fresh, crisp and calming.
Top notes: bergamot & sea salt
Heart notes: lavender
Base notes: ancient cedarwood, amber
Fallen Leaves

Gentle mists, crisp mornings, fallen leaves. Pumpkins, chunky knits, first fires.
Fallen Leaves is a celebration of our favourite season.
Subtly blending the sweetness of pumpkin with freshly baked bread, crushed pumpkin seeds and a touch of cardamom, our candle is autumn in a jar.
Utterly comforting, it's like a warm hug after a chilly walk.
Top notes: pumpkin spice
Heart notes: freshly baked bread
Base notes: cardamom
HIBERNATION

Blending comforting citrus scents with the spicy warmth of black pepper Hibernation is the perfect accompaniment for hunkering down under cosy blankets.
Hibernation blends premium essential oils.
Top notes: bergamot, sweet orange
Heart notes: black pepper, grapefruit
Base notes: warm woods
Our candles are mindfully made
Our candles are made using a blend of coconut and rapeseed wax. Rapeseed crops are grown in the EU on land already used for agriculture. The coconut oil comes from smallholders in Asia where the production is well-regulated. Both crops are sustainable, renewable, GM free and come without the risks of deforestation associated with soy wax, or the overuse of pesticides.
Coconut and rapeseed wax also produces a high quality scent throw, burns more cleanly than soy or paraffin – which as a petroleum derivative can release soot and lead to respiratory problems – and more slowly, giving you maximum enjoyment!
We also stock a range of essential oil candles.
