How to care for your Winterfold candle
Here’s how to make the most out of your scented candle.
1. BURN TIME
To maximise the burn time of your candle, make sure you burn the candle for at least an hour. This allows the wax to melt right to the edges, avoiding tunnelling and wasting the wax.
2. KEEP IT TRIM
By keeping your wick regularly trimmed, to approximately 5mm, you will maintain a clean burn. If the wick starts curling that is a sign it needs trimming.
3. FOUR HOUR LIMIT
Remember to extinguish the flame after four hours. The jars can get very hot and could be at risk of cracking and leaking if left burning for longer than the safe limit.
4. REUSE
By following the instructions, you should have very little wax residue. Simply wash out the jar with hot soapy water, take out the metal wick holder and you have a lovely jar, perfect for storage or a small posy of flowers.
